SHIPPING POLICY
We ship all orders from our studio in Minnesota and carefully package each item to help ensure it arrives safely.
Our shipping approach is designed to balance fairness, care, and transparency—so you pay only what it truly costs to deliver your order safely.
SHIPPING RATES
Shipping rates are calculated using a zone-based system, which means the cost of shipping is based on your location and the size and weight of your order. This allows us to charge fair, transparent shipping rates without inflating product prices or subsidizing long-distance deliveries.
Shipping rates are determined by:
• Your shipping destination
• The size and weight of your order
• The shipping zone your address falls within
Shipping rates are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
We do not add handling fees or mark up shipping charges for profit.
BOX SIZES & ORDER WEIGHT
Many of our supplies are lightweight but require longer boxes to protect stems, picks, greenery, and other materials during transit. Because of this, shipping costs are based on both package size and weight, which reflects how shipping carriers calculate rates.
Certain long floral stems may be gently bent during packaging to reduce box size and shipping costs. This does not affect the integrity or intended use of the product, and stems can be reshaped upon arrival.
This approach helps ensure:
• Your items arrive safely
• Shipping costs remain accurate and fair
CARRIERS & SHIPPING METHODS
Orders are shipped using trusted carriers such as USPS and UPS. The carrier selected for your shipment is determined based on the size, weight, destination, and shipping requirements of the order.
DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery times vary by destination, carrier, weather conditions, and seasonal shipping volume. Estimated transit times provided by carriers are not guaranteed and may be subject to delays outside of our control.
Gardenbug Designs is not responsible for carrier delays once an order has been accepted and scanned by the shipping carrier. This includes delays caused by weather, transportation disruptions, staffing shortages, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.
PROCESSING TIME
Most orders leave the studio within 5 business days.
During periods of high order volume, holidays, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be extended. If a significant delay occurs, we will make every effort to contact you using the information provided during checkout.
Please ensure your shipping address, email address, and phone number are accurate when placing your order. Gardenbug Designs is not responsible for delays, additional shipping charges, or lost packages resulting from incorrect customer-provided information.
CUSTOM ORDERS & MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS
Processing times for custom orders, made-to-order items, workshop kits, and specialty products may vary. Estimated processing times will be communicated at the time of purchase or during the design process.
FREE SHIPPING
Gardenbug Designs may occasionally offer free shipping promotions on select products, collections, or order values. Any applicable free shipping offers will be clearly stated at the time of purchase and are subject to change without notice.
SHIPPING LIMITATIONS
At this time, we ship within the continental United States only.
